Barbara Jacques is a Green Beauty Expert, Wellness Maven and the Founder and Creative Director of Jacq’s a vegan beauty brand created to help women slay naturally. Slaying naturally isn’t just about skincare or makeup. It's about slaying fearlessly at whatever sets your soul on fire. The company’s vision is inspired by Jacques’s personal story. After learning that she had an ovarian tumor during the first trimester of my pregnancy, she went on a relentless search for answers. Her desire to learn more about her illness, her body lead to her to learn about the link between healthy foods, skin care, and the power of self-care led her to experiment in the kitchen to create safe and natural products for both herself and her family. Jacq's was born after successfully giving birth to my daughter.
Jacq’s is an ethically and environmentally-friendly company that works to source local organic ingredients to use in their small batch skincare. The products are free of harsh preservatives, and free from toxic ingredients. With over a decade in sales, marketing and communications background, Barbara launched Jacq’s in 2012, a Green America certified business that’s Peta approved, cruelty-free, and an endorser of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.
