Chelsie Savage is the one of a kind combination of Owner & Chef of The Sanctum, Holistic Health Coach, Female Entrepreneur & Yogi. Originally from Upstate New York, Chelsie grew up in Central Ohio and moved to Central Florida in 2005 to attend UCF. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Psychology and BA in Communications & continued her education at the Integrative Institute of Nutrition where she studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. This lead to the launch of her first company, Chelsie Nicole Health Coaching, which she has been operating since 2010.
Never classically trained (or ever even having worked in a restaurant for that matter), this year she left her full-time career as a yoga instructor & health coach to follow her passions as an entrepreneur & chef. The overwhelming request from the community to “please just open up a restaurant so we can eat your food every day” led to the creation of The Sanctum. A joint venture between her & her husband, The Sanctum opened in Downtown Orlando January 2016 with a bang and has been thriving ever since.
Being Italian, she has grown up in the kitchen and has always been a lover of good food. Her expertise is in creating food that not only tastes great, but is great for you. The mindfulness that she brings to the kitchen combined with her fresh take on flavors and the finest ingredients she can source, gives flavor that will blow your mind to food you feel good about. The Sanctum is open 7 days a week and specializes in plant based artisan foods, locally roasted coffee & espresso, craft beer & wine and serves up a killer brunch every Sunday.
