Eating Plant-Based at Disney World Is Easier Than You Think
For Seed founders Alison Burgos and Michelle Gaber, Walt Disney World is one of their fave places. Their little one LOVES Mickey and friends (who doesn't?!) -- so trips to Orlando are a regular family outing!
And while it might seem like Walt's world isn't a haven for plant-based eats, times are changing.
These days, it's easier than even to indulge in all kinds of veg snacks, meals, and sweets at all of the Walt Disney World parks. Many of the stands and restaurants are serving up delicious options from the likes of Beyond Meat, Gardein, and more.
Here are a few top meals and eateries not to miss if you're headed to Orlando:
Tofu noodle bowl at Skipper's Canteen in the Magic Kingdom
Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom (Adventureland)
Mickey pretzels in all the parks
Vegan Brat with tots at Friar's Nook in Fantasyland
Vegan Mickey Waffles at Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood Studios
Southwest cheeseburger at Peco's Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe in the Magic Kingdom
Guacamole with a fried flour “Chicharron” at Choza de Margarita (Mexico) in the World Showcase in Epcot
Vegan fish and chips at the Rose and Crown (UK) in the World Showcase in Epcot
These are just a few of our favorite selections, but there are WAY more at all of the different parks, plus Disney Springs, and the restaurants on-site at the resorts!
If you hit up a random restaurant and there's nothing that looks veg-friendly, most of the kitchens will accommodate you! Disney chefs are pretty rad!
